I visited Fortis after reading reviews for Dr. Chandra. He is an amazing doctor who cares for his patients. My father was nervous about Angiography procedure after the doctors at previous hospital had scared him about the negative impact on kidney due to high creatinine levels.It was Dr. Chandra's confidence and friendliness which made all of us comfortable to go for Angiography and further angio plasty. Procedure went well on June 1st and he and his team were there for us at every moment.

He further ensured no impact on kidney function as promised prior to the procedure unlike to other doctor at NHI who were very apprehensive about the same. My association with Dr. Nishith Chandra is from last 19 years, when I contacted him for my angina problem. He examined me in ndetail and advised angiography. Which showed two vessels blocked. But to my surprise he did not advise me stenting. Instead he put me on simple medicines.Even after 19 years I am doing fine without stenting.

This is the unique part of Dr Chandra. He never advises you unnecessary angioplasty or stenting. Unlike other cardiologist s. He gives you a very sincere opinion.

Dr Chandra is not only a fantastic doctor but he is a great human being as well. I visited his noida clinic and he was gentleman enough to take care of my mother not only as a patient but as a guest too.He promptly called Golf cart to take her to the my car at gate so the she doesn't have to walk. He thoroughly explained the medical condition of my mother and advised me accordingly. He also took record of her medical documents for quick reference for future and medical emergency. Dr Chandra was kind enough to offer his immediate help for any future issue and shared his number with us,which is very rare virtue these days.i am overall very satisfied with his approach. My father was suffering from chest pain for a long time. We had consulted a number of doctors, without permanent relief. In 2015, we were asked to meet Dr Chandra, by our family friend.

After a proper detailed workup, he came to the conclusion that two of his heart,s arteries were blocked. He advised us to undergo a bypass surgery. We were afraid and wanted stenting. But Dr Chandra recommended that in his case, bypass would be better. He had undergone bypass, under Dr Chandra's care in 2015. He has improved since then.

Wonderful heart doctor. Very polite and humble. Gives you proper attention. My first angioplasty was done in year 2008, since then I am regularly seeing him at Fortis. After eight years I again started having angina a repeat angiography showed the earlier stent was normal. But there was a new artery which was choked. So I underwent stenting to that also.

Now again I am feeling normal. Besides advising medicines, he tells you healthy lifestyle changes. I am fully satisfied and recommend others to Dr N Chandra.

My problem started one year ago when I was in Roorkee, I started having chest discomfort on walking few steps. My doctors suggested various therapies. But my condition was not improving. Then for some work I had to come to del hi, when I decided to consult a heart specialist at Fortis.

Here I met Dr N Chandra. Right from first visit, I felt reassured. He conducted simple tests and detected blockages in my hearts arteries. He put two stents in them, after that my pain vanished. I can do my normal work and job. He calls me every six months for followup, during which he thoroughly checks you and prescribe treatment. I am grateful to be under his care.

He did his coronary angiography, which depicted all three heart arteries blocked. I took the angio CD out and consulted a number of Cardiologist s in Agra and Delhi. I am consulting Dr NChandra since 2010 for my heart problem. I was having chest pain on exertion since few months. I had consulted a number of doctors. Dr Chandra, checked me thoroughly, and advised a coronary angiography. Which showed that two of my arteries were blocked, causing chest pain.

People say that stents are temporary, but my suggestion to them is , if you follow doctors advise after angioplasty, then stenting gives you long lasting solution.
